Obituary

Lifelong parishioner of St. Stephen's Church, Kearny

Marie Jeanette McBride, 93, of Kearny passed away peacefully on May 3, 2021. Marie is predeceased by her beloved husband James A. McBride, Sr., her devoted children Mary Jane Perez, James A. McBride, Jr. and Clifford McBride.

She is survived by her son Brian McBride and wife Dorothy. Cherished grandmother of Michael Perez and wife Nicola McAllister-Perez, Raymond E. Perez, Jennifer Berberich and husband Matthew, Melissa Bertuccio and husband Louis, Brian McBride and Malorie McBride. Beloved great grandmother of Madison, Peyton, Jack, Gavin, Michael, McKennah, Chase, Kennedy and Raegan. Before retiring she was a secretary for Chase Morgan Bank, N.Y.. Marie was an extremely independent women always walking up and down Kearny Avenue running her errands. She loved to gamble, read, cook, play Jeopardy and play crossword puzzles in her spare time. She will truly be missed by many. 

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday 4-8pm in the Condon Funeral Home, 684 Kearny Ave. Kearny. (condonfuneralhome.com)

Funeral service will be held on Friday, 9:30am in the funeral home followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial  in St. Stephen's Church, Kearny. 

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
