It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Zlatko Kesic. He passed away in the evening of June 23rd, 2020 due to complications caused by COVID-19.
He was predeceased by his father and mother, Vlado Kesic and Ivanka Kesic. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosemary Colgan Kesic, and his daughters, Daniela and Katarina Kesic. As well as his brothers, Milan Kesic and Ivica Kesic, and their dear wives, Regina Kesic and Vera Kesic. His memory will live on with them and in the hearts of his in-laws, nieces, nephews and countless other beloved family members and friends.
Zlatko, nicknamed Zlatan which means “Golden One” in his native tongue of Croatian, was known for bringing light into the lives of those he encountered. He was an avid soccer fan and player, motorcyclist, and grill master with a green thumb. The West Orange resident was born in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 25th, 1957.
Zlatko was the founder, owner and operator of Z Limo LLC, which was affiliated with the West Orange Chamber of Commerce. He was an active member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, the American Motorcyclist Association and the Central Jersey Motorcycle Riders Group. Zlatko brought not just his cleats, but also his love and joy of the game to the field when playing soccer with a West Orange adult soccer group on Sundays.
A mass to cherish the life of our dearly departed Zlatko will be held at Saint Stephens Church in Kearny, NJ on Saturday June 27th, 2020 at 11:00am. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Condon Funeral Home, Kearny, NJ.
